TOP Places to visit and shoot in Paris!

Paris Instagramable Places

  1. Trocadero – ???? 112 Avenue Kléber, 75116 Paris, France

???? Does not matter what time you will go. We had no queue but you might have to wait for a bit. Also, you have to climb fences for this and sit in the bird shit.

???? Does not matter what time you will go. We waited for some photo shoots of married people. Don’t slide down. Take the shot from a low angle to block out people.

???? You have to be here bloody early, we skipped this one to be honest because there were so many people.

???? Don’t get run over by a car. This was at 12:00, probably more quite in the morning. Literally in front of Trocadero.

???? Unfortunately, the pretty side was blocked by fences. But this is basically at the road towards the Eiffel tower when you leave Trocadero.

2. Close to Trocadero- ???? Avenue de Camoens, 75116 Paris, France

Famous View

???? There was no one when we went. Some tourist came. I went here twice and both times no queue. Time doesn’t really matter.

???? The street itself is cute as well and has some nice balconies on the left side.

3. Arce De Ttriomphe – ???? L’Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile, 75017 Paris, France

???? I was here around 09:00, but there was a riot the day before. If you want no cars you have to be patient. Mornings are better

4. Musée du Louvre – ???? Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France

???? Was at this place around 09:00. Not many people there. Got a lot shots with the small and big pyramids.

???? The museum area has a gorgeous places all around. Just a matter of waiting until people moved out of your shot.

5. Sacré-Cœur – ???? 35 Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, 75018 Paris, France

???? You can go to the Acre Coeur by Metro and walk the last bit. The view from the top view point is great but will be packed with a lot people. Coming before sunset is a good time to stroll around.

???? And you can get the best mulled wine and food! Very cozy atmosphere.

6. Eiffel Tower –
???? Champ de Mars, 5 Avenue Anatole France, 75007 Paris, France

???? Rue de l’Universite

???? The famous little side street! It was not that busy, we just waited for cars to pass by.

???? The tower sparkles in the evening every hour on the hour until 1 AM. Make sure you don’t get robbed while staring at this beauty.

Pretty Cafes/ Bars

???? 49 Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg, 75007 Paris, France

???? Pretty red places everywhere! But this one was exactly at a gorgeous zebra crossing. This area is really gorgeous!

???? 159 Rue de Grenelle, 75007 Paris, France

???? The food at Marlon was so epic! You will have to queue and you will be able to leave your phone number so they can call you once they have something available.

???? 172 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris, France

???? Cafe de Flore, really overpriced. Totally not as cute as the pictures look. You have to queue for ages if you want the shot with the world map table. (which we did not do)

???? 54 Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg, 75007 Paris, France

???? Fitzgerald is the best place to get some cocktails! They have a very pretty private room and the best cocktails in Paris.

Airbnb’s and Hotels ( not sponsored)

???? 11 Rue Juge, 75015 Paris, Frankrijk

Timhotel Tour Eiffel

There is only 1 room with a view like this in the Tim Hotel. Some other rooms have a balcony with a view. However, I got a room with no view and paid 150 for 1 night. The bed was very dirty so I would not recommend this.

AirBnb

???? 11 Rue Amélie, Paris, Île-de-France 75007, France

Most instagrammeble airbnb ever! Wonderful host that helped us with everything and anything.

Airbnb

???? 20 Rue de l’Armorique, Paris, Île-de-France 75015, France

Great apartment, very modern and big. Gorgeous view of Eiffel tower. The apartment itself it good secured and protected, however the hallway felt a bid dodgy. Had no problems anyway.

Check it out

Do’s and DONT’s

DO’s

  1. Use Uber
  2. Use the Metro and buy a day card
  3. Eat lots of croissants
  4. Visit a Boulangerie
  5. Stay in Airbnb’s
  6. Explore Paris at night

Don’t

  1. Use local Taxi’s

  3. Tell anyone that you are alone
  4. Panic in the small elevators
  5. Make it too easy for pickpockets

I went on this trip partially alone and partially with Kara.❤️

  • Here’s a tip from an experienced travel photographer. It’s Easy to be anywhere on the right time to get the sun on your subject or if you want in backlight. Just take a map, find north and remember the sun comes up on the right, will be coming from the south at noon and sunset comes from So the Eiffeltower from Champs des Mars is in the sun in the morning. From Trocadero late in the afternoon etc. It really helps a lot to some sense of oriëntation before you arrive. Hope this us useful. Have a great shoot! Erik
